Carol Stigler

President

Pet Care Specialist since 2005
Certified in Pet First Aid and CPR
Naperville Area Resident since 1995

Carol started Auntie Carol’s Whisker Watchers, Inc. in 2009 because of her love for pets and her desire to bring exceptional care to pet owners throughout Naperville and the surrounding areas. Carol has been a lifelong pet owner, and pet lover. Over the years she has owned and cared for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs and fish in her own home, and dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, fish and bearded dragons for her clients. Currently she is Mom to 2 rescue dogs, Bryant, a 5 year old Collie Shepherd Mix, and Clifford, a 8 year old Lab/Hound mix.  Carol also fosters dogs whenever possible, and has shared her home and her love with Baily, Baxter, Stark, and Spike while they awaited permanent homes of their own.

“The most rewarding part of being a Pet Sitter is undoubtedly the love and appreciation we get every day from the pets we care for, and the kindness of the pet owners we work with. I simply can’t imagine any other job that would bring as much joy and fulfillment as this one.”

Martie A.

Martie A.

Senior Pet Care Specialist

Martie lives in Naperville with her husband and 4 fur babies. She spent 20 years in healthcare administration, and 8 years ago decided it was time to purse her passion for pets. She volunteers with several rescues, in particular ones that specialize with Brachiocephalic breeds, but also works with rescues that help to bring dogs from other countries to the United States to be placed with loving forever homes.

Martie has 4 special needs French Bulldogs, but she usually has one or two additional foster dogs living with her. Often the dogs sent to her are on their last chance as they have behavioral or health issues, but through hard work and dedication she has successfully placed each one with loving permanent homes.  Her theory is the more love you have the more love you have to give. That love extends to our clients as Martie strives to treat each and every fur baby she meets as if they are one of her very own.  When Martie isn’t with animals she enjoys doing yoga, gardening and pursuing her passion for traveling with her husband.
